How to book a vacation package here, in six steps. Step two is the uncomfortable one, and it is why the other five run smoothly.

The six steps

Say who is comingNot the count. The ages, who shares a bed with whom, whether anyone needs a door of their own, and whether somebody might drop out. The whole trip hangs off this answer
We ask the awkward partLower age limits, what a room to yourself costs, what the figure does if your six becomes five. Far better said now than discovered in a supplier's small print in month three
We go askingYour party goes to the suppliers as your party, not as a generic couple. This is the slow step, and the clock belongs to them
A proposal arrives in writingNamed supplier, exact dates, beds settled, the whole figure per head, and their cancellation rules attached to it
You agree it with themTheir system, their receipt, their name on your statement
We stay on itAmendments, questions and the reconfirmation everybody forgets, at whatever hour you need it

Not a cent, including the steps that end with you deciding to stay at home.

If the proposal works: The supplier releases a slice of its own margin to this office, after you are back
If it does not: Nothing happens. No invoice appears and nobody telephones you about it
If your party changes shape: It gets priced again, still free, however many rounds that takes

Freeze a figure: Only the company that set it can, for as long as they choose
Undercut something you found: Nothing here matches a price. If yours is genuinely the same trip on the same dates, take it
Waive a lower age limit: It belongs to the supplier and it is usually about their insurer rather than their judgement
