What booking together changes here
- Traveling alone
- The single supplement here is the heaviest on our list, between 40 and 60 percent depending on camp. Camps price by tent and the tents hold two
- Two of you
- Standard, and you share a vehicle with whoever else is in camp, which is usually four to six other people
- With children
- From twelve at two of the three camps and from six at the third. The light aircraft have a strict weight limit and children still count fully against it
- Six or more together
- The figure above assumes six. Six travelers fills a vehicle, which means the drives go where your party wants rather than where the majority does. It also fills one light aircraft leg exactly
- How the rooms work
- Tents for two, three singles across the three camps at the supplement. Nothing adjoins and the tents are a walk apart
- If one of the party drops out
- Below six the vehicle is shared and the per head figure rises. Camps hold deposits from confirmation and they are not refundable inside 60 days
- What the party does together
- Every drive and every meal. Camps of this size eat at one table
- Who this one is not for
- Anybody who needs to be reachable. Two of the three camps have no signal at all and the satellite line is for emergencies
The last two rows lose this office bookings and they stay on the page anyway. A trip that does not suit the people you are bringing is cheaper to find out about here than at the airport.

- Gratuities for guides and camp staff, which are expected and for which we will give you a figure
- The helicopter option over the delta, which is bought locally and is not cheap
- Anything medical, including the antimalarial course you arrange at home
- Travel insurance

- Two people sharing a room, unless the party rows above say otherwise for your case.
- What moves it
- The month, the room grade, how far ahead you book, and above all the size and shape of your party.
- When it becomes a number
- At confirmation, in writing, with the operator named. Until then it is the bottom of a real range and nothing more.
No payment is taken on this website. You pay the operator directly and this office never sees a card.
Timing a party of six or more
May to October is the dry season and the standard answer, with July to September the peak and priced as such.
The green season from December to March is cheaper by a third, and it is genuinely different rather than worse: more birds, better light, harder game viewing and a real chance of a camp being unreachable for a day. We will sell you either and we will not pretend they are the same trip.
What gets settled when you confirm
Exactly how many of you, because six is the line and five changes the figure. The luggage limit, which on these aircraft is a soft bag of about fifteen kilos and is enforced. Which camp takes the last three nights, since ending in the delta and ending in the desert are different endings. And the deposit, which at this level is taken early and is substantial.
